2016 New Photography Goals, Alliances and Certifications

2016 marks a keystone in the Atlas Photography SJ books. This year we have become members of the Professional Photographers of America Association and also the Professional Photographers of Santa Clara Valley. This means that we have taken the oath " Use the highest levels of professionalism, honesty and integrity in all relationships with colleagues, clients and the general public. We have declared our candidacy and taken the written portion of the exam. Our next step is to begin the image submission once we have passed the exam. We have about two more weeks until we find out the results. Lastly, It is our goal to align ourselves with the most trusted organizations local, nationally and on a global scale to insure the success, quality and purity of being a professional photographer.

Marcus St. Marcus

Internationally published author, photographer, and filmmaker Marcus' most recent children's books, The Tiger & The Turtle, and Bella Umbrella are available worldwide. In 2016 he is releasing is 4th book, The Kings Pebble - a coming of age story for fathers and their sons.

A San Francisco Bay Area native, Marcus studied in Rome, Italy and graduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. in Radio-Television-Video and Film. As a photographer and award winning filmmaker, Marcus has worked with Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures, and web titans Google and YouTube. Currently Marcus is represented by Tate Publishing and Enterprises as well as RAE Agency model management.

Currently, Marcus is visiting schools throughout California motivating people of all ages in fulfilling their childhood dreams. He is a first degree Pit Bull Jiu-Jitsu purple belt and medalist.
